Abstract
This article discusses the crucial role of electronic dictionaries in learning Arabic and the ease of access they provide to word meanings and linguistic information. With the development of technology and the advent of electronic devices, electronic dictionaries have become essential tools in language learning due to their various advantages, such as ease and speed of information retrieval, easy data updates, and interactive, appealing displays.Electronic dictionaries offer several benefits over traditional dictionaries, including quick access to information, a more engaging display, and ease of data updating. They play an essential role in preserving the Arabic language and documenting its terminology, supporting its presence in the digital world as technology advances. The primary functions of electronic dictionaries include clear definitions, explanations of meanings, accurate word identification, and grammatical and morphological information. They also help ensure correct spelling for each word. With these features, electronic dictionaries enhance students' understanding of Arabic and facilitate the correct and proper use of the language. Thus, electronic dictionaries serve as essential and relevant educational tools in the digital era.
