Abstract
This study aims to explore the effectiveness of the inquiry method in teaching Arabic grammar by analyzing previous studies and relevant literary sources. The researcher used both quantitative and qualitative approaches to analyze data related to teaching methods and approaches in Arabic grammar instruction. Data were collected from library sources such as books and academic articles that discussed the impact of the inquiry method on learning grammar. The findings showed that the inquiry method encourages students to think critically and learn independently, thereby enhancing their understanding of grammatical rules. It also helps develop research and analytical skills through active student engagement with the learning materials. However, there were challenges identified, such as the difficulty in ensuring student success due to varying abilities, and the need for more time to implement learning activities compared to traditional methods. Therefore, the study recommends broader use of the inquiry method in teaching Arabic grammar, considering the associated challenges, and providing sufficient support to students to ensure the effectiveness of the learning process.
