Pengembangan Instrumen Evaluasi Maharah Al-Kalam (Tingkatan, Soal, dan Tes)

Abstract
The development of maharah al-kalam or speaking skills becomes one of the important focuses in Arabic language learning, as this skill enables students to communicate effectively and participate in real conversations. Teaching maharah al-kalam requires accurate and appropriate evaluation instruments, to measure speaking skills as a whole, The method used is descriptive qualitative method. The results of this study show that to achieve good maharah al-kalam in Arabic, teachers need to pay attention to targets and factors that support developing students' skills in speaking, as well as paying attention to the level of questions with good and the obstacles that occur in the development process, when all has been done, the results of the development can be seen and then become evaluation material.
