Peningkatan Keterampilan Menyimak dan Berbicara dalam Pembelajaran Bahasa Arab Melalui Penggunaan Video Animasi Bahasa Arab
Main Article Content
Abstract
Arabic as a foreign language subject taught in Indonesian educational institutions encompasses at least four core language skills, namely, listening comprehension (maharah al-istima’), speaking (maharah al-kalam), reading (maharah al-qira’ah), and writing (maharah al-kitabah). To achieve these standards, teachers can employ various strategies, one of which is using audiovisual media, such as animated Arabic language videos. This study aims to determine the extent to which the use of animated Arabic videos can enhance Arabic language skills, particularly listening and speaking, among seventh-grade students at Lazuardi Global School Purwakarta. The research employs a quantitative approach using a quasi-experimental method, comparing an experimental class using animated videos with a control class that does not utilize this media. The findings indicate a significant improvement in listening and speaking skills in the experimental class, with an average post-test score of 87.2 compared to 80.0 in the control class. The t-test analysis confirms that the use of animated Arabic videos positively impacts the improvement of these skills in students.
