Nilai-Nilai Toleransi Beragama Dalam Al-Qur’an: Sebuah Pendekatan Terhadap Dinamika Perilaku Sosial

Abstract
Tolerance and freedom of religion are a necessity to maintain social stability from ideological issues or problems involving physical conflicts in society. The existence of religious differences should make us respect each other and work together for the greater good. On the contrary, the existence of religious differences has become one of the factors for undermining, belittling, or sowing discord between one religion and another. This research aims to elucidate the nature of religious freedom tolerance according to the Qur'an in relation to social behavior. This study employs a descriptive-analytical method with literature collection techniques. The results of this research reveal that in tolerance, we must respect every religious freedom that exists in life. Freedom of religion in QS. Al-Baqarah verse 256 states that there is no compulsion in choosing a religion or belief. Thus, with the essence of religious freedom tolerance where every follower can adjust and control their behavior to respect each other without feeling threatened in their beliefs or receiving their social rights.
