Abstract
the researcher analyzes the contents of the textbook of the Ministry of Religion, because this book is used for learning Arabic for grade 1 SMA. This research approach is with quantitative input to the descriptive and analytical approach, research procedures: explaining research problems, conducting written studies, determining the components of the analysis, providing analysis questions, setting codes to answer questions, collecting and analyzing data, writing research results. As for the results of the study it can be concluded that the percentage of content analysis of the Ministry of Religion textbooks according to the basis for the preparation of good textbooks is 52.085%, this indicates that textbooks are in accordance with the Ministry of Religion for junior high schools in general in accordance with the principle principles, prepare good textbooks for teaching Arabic to non-native speakers.
